Held annually in August, the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival is one of our most important fundraising opportunities, as well as one of our organization’s most beloved annual traditions.
For the past fifteen years, the Candlelighters Courageous Cancer Kids team has participated in the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival. Comprised of children and teens with cancer, along with their family and friends, our team works tirelessly to fundraise in support of our art therapy program. Their efforts are supported by a wonderful group of generous community sponsors, comprised of business from around Simcoe County who have donated funds and resources in support of Candlelighters Simcoe.
